Product Notes

Porto Ferreira LBV Port is a luscious, full-bodied and complex fortified wine made from grapes grown in the Douro Valley region of Portugal. LBV stands for Late Bottled Vintage which means the wine is made from a single vintage and aged for four to six years in oak casks before it is bottled. The result is a rich and intense wine with flavours of dark fruit and hints of chocolate and spice. Porto Ferreira LBV Port pairs wonderfully with strong cheeses, nuts and dried fruit, making it the perfect drink for those looking to enjoy a luxurious dessert wine.

About the Winery

Porto Ferreira

Known for producing authentic Portuguese wines, Porto Ferreira is a wine label that was established in 1751. Though the company’s founder already had vineyards in the Douro Demarcated region, his grandchildren were the ones who managed to make these wines highly popular. Jose Bernardo and Antonio Bernardo, along with the future generations expanded the company further.
