About Quintodecimo

Quintodecimo is a prestigious winery located in the heart of Campania, southern Italy, in the town of Mirabella Eclano. Founded in 2001 by renowned oenologist Luigi Moio and his wife Laura di Marzio, the winery has quickly gained a reputation for producing some of the finest wines in southern Italy. Moio, a professor of oenology at the University of Naples, brought years of academic research and deep respect for terroir into the project, aiming to elevate the wines of Campania to international acclaim.

The estate spans about 30 hectares of vineyards, situated on the slopes of Irpinia at an altitude of 400–500 meters. Quintodecimo focuses on native Campanian grape varieties, crafting elegant and expressive wines that reflect the region’s unique volcanic soils and cool climate. Their flagship wines include Terra d’Eclano (Aglianico), Exultet (Fiano di Avellino), Via del Campo (Greco di Tufo), and Giallo d’Arles (Falanghina).

Quintodecimo’s philosophy combines scientific precision with artisanal winemaking, resulting in limited-production wines of remarkable purity, balance, and longevity. The winery remains family-owned and continues to be a benchmark for quality in southern Italy, a testament to Moio’s lifelong dedication to the region and its grapes.
