Tasting Note

Expressive aromas of blackberries, violets and sweet spices preface the 2020 Domaine de Cambes, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered wine that's rich and demonstrative, its generous core of fruit framed by fine, chalky tannins. - William Kelley, Robert Parker Wine Advocate

Product Notes

Roc de Cambes Domaine de Cambes Bordeaux wine is a luxurious and refined red wine that hails from the prestigious Bordeaux region of France. Crafted by renowned winemaker Francois Mitjavile, this exquisite blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes offers a rich and complex palate of flavors. Notes of dark fruits, spice, and earthy undertones come together in perfect harmony, creating a truly elegant and sophisticated drinking experience. With a deep ruby color and velvety smooth texture, Roc de Cambes Domaine de Cambes Bordeaux wine is a true expression of the terroir and dedication to quality winemaking.

About the Winery

Roc de Cambes is a distinguished winery located in the Côtes de Bourg appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, France. Owned and operated by François Mitjavile, the estate is closely associated with his exceptional winemaking style, also evident in his acclaimed Saint-Émilion estate, Tertre Roteboeuf. François acquired Roc de Cambes in the late 1980s, recognizing the vineyard’s potential due to its south-facing slopes, limestone-rich soils, and proximity to the Gironde estuary, which provides a beneficial microclimate for grape ripening.
