From four estate vineyards on the benches and hillsides above the valley floor. 16 months in French and American oak barrels. Bold, ripe fruit aromas and flavours centred on red plum and blueberry, elegant oak structure, rich and mouth-filling with soft always tannins and a fresh vein of acidity. This is a Cabernet that punches well above its weight.

This full-bodied wine is aged in French oak barrels for 20 months, resulting in notes of dark cherry, blackberry, and cassis that are balanced by hints of vanilla, mocha, and tobacco. The tannins are bold and firm, making this wine a perfect pairing for roasted meats, hearty stews, and strong cheeses. About the Winery

Rodney Strong Vineyards

The story of Rodney Strong Vineyards began in 1959 when the winery’s founder Rodney S. Strong retired from his dancing career. He married Charlotte Ann Winson, his dance accompanist and partner, and started his life in the winemaking art and industry. His venture into the new field led him to Sonoma County. There he realised the value and potential of the land that could lead to unmatched diversity and world-class standards of the planted vines.
