Tasting Note

Bright yellow in colour. This wine boasts aromas of peach, tropical fruits and subtle flinty hints on the nose. The palate is rich and broad, but with a vibrant acidity which carries the flavours onto the lingering finish

Product Notes

Spice Route Swartland Chenin Blanc is a white wine that presents a fresh and crisp profile with notes of apple, pear, and citrus. Grown in the Swartland region of South Africa, this wine is a testament to the unique climate and soil found in the area. It is made from carefully selected Chenin Blanc grapes, fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve their individual characteristics. The wine exhibits a beautiful pale straw color and a bright acidity that lingers on the palate. With its refreshing taste and easy-drinking style, it is perfect for pairing with light meals or as an aperitif.

About the Winery

Spice Route

The Spice Route Winery has been named thus because it was established by the Spice Boys in 1997 in South Africa. The winery was a result of many brains in the South African wine market namely Charles Black from Fairview, John Platter (a journalist by profession), Jabulani Ntshangase from Spier and Gyles Webb from Thelema.
