Product Notes

Mullineux Granite Chenin Blanc is a gem of a wine produced in Swartland, South Africa. Made exclusively from Chenin Blanc grapes grown on granite soils, it is a beautifully crafted wine that is both complex and elegant. The nose is floral and delicate, with aromas of white peach, lime, and honey. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of green apple, pear, and a subtle mineral streak. The acidity is well-balanced, lending a fresh, crisp finish. Mullineux Granite Chenin Blanc is a fantastic example of how Chenin Blanc can produce exceptional white wines that are deliciously complex and versatile, perfect for pairing with seafood, roasted chicken, and grilled vegetables.

About the Winery

Mullineux

If you are looking for a taste of authentic South African wines with utmost character and elegance, Mullineux is the right choice for you. These wines are hand-crafted and produced in the rich granite and schist soils based in Swartland, South Africa.  Chris and Andrea worked in many wineries across France, South Africa and California. They put all their winemaking experience into the brand they created, Mullineux, in South Africa’s Swartland region. As soon as Chris and Andrea spotted the terroirs, climatic conditions and the soil qualities of this region, they knew that this was where they wanted to set up their label.
