Product Notes

Tedeschi Capitel San Rocco Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore is a rich and complex wine that represents the highest quality expression of the Valpolicella Ripasso style. Made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes, harvested from the steep hillsides of the Valpolicella region, this wine is aged in oak barrels before undergoing a second fermentation on the lees of the dried grapes used to make Amarone. The resulting wine is full-bodied with aromas of cherries, blackberries, and a hint of vanilla, while the palate is rich and velvety with a long finish. This wine pairs well with hearty meat dishes and aged cheeses.
