Product Notes

Tenuta Ulisse Sogno di Ulisse Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a premium Italian red wine, crafted from the Montepulciano grape variety that thrives in the hilly regions of the Abruzzo province. It boasts a deep, ruby red color with aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries, and plums. The palate is rich and complex, with flavors of dark fruit, vanilla, and a touch of spice that leads to a long, lingering finish. This wine is aged in oak barrels for 12 months, which gives it its full-bodied and structured profile. It pairs well with hearty meat dishes and aged cheeses. Tenuta Ulisse established a reputation for producing high-quality Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wines, and its Sogno di Ulisse is no exception.

About the Winery

Tenuta Ulisse

The establishment of Tenuta Ulisse was in 2006 during the winemaking reinvigoration and reawakening that took over the Abruzzo region of Southern Italy at that time. The venture of the winery began with the dreams and aspirations of two brothers, Antonio and Luigi. Initially, the place never had any reputation for its high quality and standard of wines. Nevertheless, it did not have a poor standing at the very least.
