Tasting Note

This wine shows black currant, ripe red plum fruit and spicy aromatics following through to a rich plush but elegantly textured mouthfeel with great density, persistence and poise.

Product Notes

Two Paddocks Pinot Noir is a premium wine that showcases the pure characteristics of Central Otago's terroir. This elegant wine is crafted by one of New Zealand's most respected winemakers, Sam Neill, who is passionate about creating sustainable, organic wines that express the unique flavors of the region. The Pinot Noir grape is handpicked from Two Paddocks' vineyard, that is farmed organically and biodynamically, and fermented using traditional methods that preserve the wine's purity and flavor. This wine has a beautiful ruby color, with aromas of blackberries and cherries, which follow through onto the palate, with a hint of spice and soft tannins, making it perfect for pairing with grilled meat or cheese.

About the Winery

Two Paddocks

Well-known actor, Sam Neil, owns the Two Paddocks vineyard. Located in Central Otago in New Zealand, this vineyard was established in 1993. The actor and his family planted Pinot Noir on a small plot of 5 acres on the Gibbston Vineyard. From a small beginning, this family-owned vineyard started expanding its vineyards. In the subsequent years, Two Paddocks added three more vineyards to its kitty. These vineyards are located in some of the highly scenic and terroir-rich locations of Alexandra and Bannockburn districts in Central Otago.
