Tasting Note

Deep ruby red with a nose of intense aromas of fresh red fruit like cherries, intermingled with a subtle note of oak that is perfectly integrated in the wine. Good acidity balances this wine with a concentrated palate that achieves a good balance between the alcohol level, body and tannins. Smooth texture and a long finish.

Product Notes

Viña San Pedro Altair is a prestigious wine from the Maipo Valley in Chile, renowned for its exceptional quality and depth of flavors. This red blend is a harmonious fusion of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, and Syrah grapes, each carefully selected and handpicked to create a symphony of rich aromas and complex tastes. With a deep ruby color and intense notes of black fruits, leather, and spices, Viña San Pedro Altair is a sophisticated and elegant wine that balances power and finesse. The velvety texture and long, lingering finish make it a perfect choice for special occasions or moments of indulgence.

About the Winery

Viña San Pedro

Viña San Pedro is one of Chile’s oldest and most historic wine producers, founded in 1865 by the Correa Albano brothers in the fertile Curicó Valley. The family were pioneers in bringing classic French grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay to Chile, helping to shape the country’s modern wine industry. Over more than 150 years, the winery has grown from a traditional estate into a major international brand.
