Product Notes

Hay Shed Hill Shiraz Tempranillo is a blend of two of the most popular varietals in Western Australia - Shiraz and Tempranillo. It is a full-bodied red wine with rich fruit flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and plum balanced with spicy notes of cinnamon and black pepper. The Tempranillo grapes lend a touch of finesse to the wine, adding earthy and tobacco notes to the palate. The wine has a fine tannin structure, which adds to its complexity and depth. This elegant wine is perfect to pair with bold, rich dishes such as roasted lamb, beef steak, and hearty stews or casseroles.

About the Winery

Hay Shed Hill

The Western Australian wine label of Hay Shed Hill is located in Wilyabrup, found inside the Margaret River wine region. The vineyard is situated on a property that was originally a place where the soldiers who returned from the First World War got settled with their families. Here, vines were first planted during the early 1970s.
