Tasting Note

Dark cherry red with medium to deep color intensity. The nose is notable for its highly intense ripe red fruit, spices like black pepper, and hints of aromatic Mediterranean herbs. Sweet on entry, medium-to-full body, and smooth tannins, seamlessly held together by lovely acidity. Long and persistent finish.

Product Notes

Jean Leon 3055 Merlot is a premium red wine that boasts a rich, full-bodied taste with full flavors of dark fruits, black currants, and vanilla. The wine is made from carefully selected grapes grown in the Penedes region of Spain, where the vines are nourished by the Mediterranean climate and mineral-rich soils. The wine has a deep ruby color and a pleasing aroma of berries, spices, and oak. It has a balanced acidity that adds a refreshing touch to its smooth finish. This wine pairs beautifully with red meats, game, cheese, and hearty stews. It is perfect for laidback evenings or for celebrating special occasions.
