Tasting Note

Clear and bright, straw with a hint of green. The wine shows delicate citrus fruit and orange blossom characteristics. This is a fruit forward wine with a smooth pallet and zesty finish due to restrained malolactic fermentation. Well balanced with subtle lactone notes providing layered complexity. The natural incorporation of mineral and saline notes promises a unique coastal style Chardonnay which will reward patient cellaring. Drink now with potential aging until 2024.

Product Notes

Journey's End V1 Chardonnay is a beautiful and elegant wine that captures the essence of the Western Cape in South Africa. This Chardonnay is crafted with precision and care by talented winemakers, resulting in a wine that is both rich and complex. The nose is filled with aromas of tropical fruits, citrus, and a hint of oak, while the palate showcases flavors of ripe peach, melon, and a touch of vanilla. The wine's crisp acidity balances out the creamy texture, creating a well-rounded and satisfying mouthfeel. Enjoy this wine on its own or pair it with seafood, chicken, or creamy pasta dishes. Journey's End V1 Chardonnay is a true representation of the beauty and diversity of South African winemaking.
