Product Notes

Loimer Brut Rosé Reserve is a stunning sparkling wine that offers a delightful blend of elegance, complexity and flavor. It is crafted from a unique combination of Pinot Noir and Zweigelt grapes which are specially selected from organic vineyards in Niederösterreich, Austria. The result is a brilliant pink hue with fine bubbles that gracefully dance on the tongue. On the nose, it is laden with aromas of wild berries, rose petals and a hint of citrusy notes. It offers a delicate palate of strawberries, sour cherries, red apple and a touch of minerality which culminates in a refreshing and lingering finish. Loimer Brut Rosé Reserve is perfect for celebratory occasions, or enjoyed as a summer aperitif.

Tasting Notes

The Brut Rosé Reserve has a fresh red fruit core, with floral notes and delicate puff pastry aromas. Following the extensive lees ageing, the palate is fine, mouth-filling and structured, with wonderfully soft acidity, discreet notes of strawberry, redcurrant and apple, and complex flavours of pastry and nougat on the finish.

About the Winery

Loimer

Loimer Wines is one of the reputed wines of Austria, all thanks to one name – Fred Loimer. He was quite passionate about winemaking and went on to get practical experience with vines and wines in Nahe, Germany and Carneros, California. After gaining enough experience, he returned to his native in Langenlois in Austria to set up his brand. There has been no turning back, ever since.

Today, the vineyards at Langenlois spread across 30 hectares and are mostly found in the Kamptal area. This area is surrounded by quite a lot of rivers; therefore, the nights are very cool here, while the days are hot. This reflects in the quality of fruits grown here. The grapes of the Kamptal vineyards are fruity are known for their high acidity.

Organic viticultural methods are followed by the winemaking team here to create biodynamic wines that reflect the true nature of the soil and terroir. Today, all the wines produced in the Niederosterreich (the largest wine producing area in Austria) and Kamptal areas are all certified by BIODYN (an organization which is a group of biodynamic producers in the neighbouring countries of Austria, Hungary, Germany and Italy.

Some of the flagship wines created by this label are:
