Product Notes

Lyme Bay Bacchus is a refreshing and crisp white wine that is sure to tantalize your taste buds. With hints of tropical fruits, elderflower, and citrus, this wine is perfect for pairing with seafood, salads, and light pasta dishes. The grapes of Lyme Bay Bacchus are grown in the beautiful region of Devon in the South West of England. It is made using traditional winemaking techniques that preserve the natural character of the grapes, giving it a distinctively aromatic style. This wine is perfect for those who enjoy a crisp, dry white wine with a unique, full-bodied taste that is sure to leave you wanting more.

Tasting Notes

Clear, pale lemon / light straw in colour. NOSE: A heady nose of elderflower with an abundance of citrus, guava and blackcurrant leaf. PALATE: A fresh and zesty wine, with a balanced, rounded body. Crisp acidity adds excellent structure to the palate and lifts the light tropical and citrus character. Perfect with seafood.

About the Winery

Lyme Bay

Devon’s Lyme Bay Winery like to do things a little differently.

Since 2015 they’ve been working with some of the best English wine growers to create a selection of delicious and award-winning still and sparkling wines.

They are one of a very few UK wineries that work with growers all over the country to get the best fruit rather than owning their own vineyards. This gives the winemakers access to different grape varieties that grow better on different soils, and in different microclimates across the country, that they can use them to make exceptional, full of character still and sparkling wines that suit every palate and occasion.
