Product Notes

Lyme Bay Chardonnay is a crisp and refreshing white wine produced in the South West of England, in the Lyme Bay region. With its distinct fruity notes and subtle hints of oak, this wine offers a balanced combination of delicate flavors that are sure to please the palate. The Chardonnay grapes are carefully selected for their quality and ripeness, then hand-harvested and gently pressed to extract the juice. This wine is then aged in oak barrels to add complexity and depth to the flavor profile. Perfectly paired with seafood dishes and cheese, Lyme Bay Chardonnay is an ideal choice for any occasion.

Tasting Notes

Award Winning 2020 Vintage Chardonnay is an elegant English Dry White Wine combining notes of creamy apples and stone fruit with subtle creaminess of oak. A crisp and complex framework makes this wine an excellent match with food, and it also has the structure to support extended ageing.

About the Winery

Lyme Bay

Devon’s Lyme Bay Winery like to do things a little differently.

Since 2015 they’ve been working with some of the best English wine growers to create a selection of delicious and award-winning still and sparkling wines.

They are one of a very few UK wineries that work with growers all over the country to get the best fruit rather than owning their own vineyards. This gives the winemakers access to different grape varieties that grow better on different soils, and in different microclimates across the country, that they can use them to make exceptional, full of character still and sparkling wines that suit every palate and occasion.
