Tasting Note

The intense nose is delicate and very focused, with aromas of star jasmine and white peach, nicely framed with the elegant oak that contributes notes of hazelnut. The palate is rich and savory yet crisp and mouthfilling, reminiscent of baked apple and lemon custard. The finsih is long and perfectly balanced

Product Notes

The Marimar Estate La Masia Chardonnay is a luxurious white wine that is a standout in California wine country. It is exclusively made from Chardonnay grapes and aged for 8 months in French oak barrels, which gives it a layered complexity that is a delight to the senses. On the nose, it exudes sweet vanilla and roasted nuts that perfectly complement the ripe tropical fruit flavors that come through on the palate. This wine is best paired with light dishes such as seafood, poultry, and salads. With its crisp acidity and impeccable balance, the Marimar Estate La Masia Chardonnay is a true gem in the world of white wine.

About the Winery

Marimar Estate

Marimar Torres, one of the prestigious winemaking families in the world, wanted to set up its legacy in California. The search for the perfect location ended in the Russian River Valley appellation, also known as the Green Valley appellation, located in the southern part of Sonoma County. Since this plot is located at a distance of just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean, this plot is blessed with a cool climate all through the year. Therefore, the climatic conditions are ideal for growing some of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietals in California.
