Tasting Note

Intense, deep colour revealing slightly reddish tints. Pleasant bouquet with smooth notes of complexity from careful ageing, leaving vibrant notes of ripe black fruit combined with fine, delicate wood. The wine reveals its complexity as it evolves, offering a spicy undertone and lactic notes with a harmonious structure. Consistent and balanced through time due to the good work of the winemaker and winegrower, this wine preserves all its harmony: a long, complex finish, sweet fruitiness and noble wood, expressing a vibrant, lively character with personality.

Product Notes

Marqués de Cáceres Gran Reserva wine is a prestigious Spanish red wine with a deep ruby color and complex flavor profile. Crafted from a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano grapes, this wine is aged for a minimum of 24 months in oak barrels and an additional 36 months in the bottle before release. The result is a wine that boasts rich aromas of ripe black fruits, vanilla, and spice, complemented by velvety tannins and a long, lingering finish. Marqués de Cáceres Gran Reserva is the perfect choice for those seeking a sophisticated and elegant wine to pair with fine cuisine or to enjoy on its own.

About the Winery

Marqués de Cáceres

Marqués de Cáceres is one of Rioja’s most internationally recognized wineries, known for its modern approach to traditional Spanish winemaking. The estate was founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner, who had previously worked in the wine trade in France before returning to his native Spain. His vision was to bring Bordeaux techniques to Rioja, creating wines with greater finesse, consistency, and international appeal. Today, the winery remains a family-owned business, led by Cristina Forner, who continues her father’s legacy while expanding its global presence.
