Masi Costasera Amarone is a rich and sophisticated red wine that hails from the Veneto region of Italy. Made from a blend of carefully selected Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, this wine undergoes a unique process called appassimento, where the grapes are dried indoors for several weeks before being pressed. The result is a concentrated, full-bodied wine with intense fruit flavors and aromas of cherries, blackberries and plums, combined with notes of vanilla and spice from the oak aging. With a lingering finish and velvety tannins, Masi Costasera Amarone pairs perfectly with robust meats, hearty stews and aged cheeses.

About the Winery

Italian wines are known for their elegance and rich winemaking processes. Masi is one such Italian wine company that has been making historic wines for over 200 years now. This brand's origin dates back to 1772, when the Boscaini family purchased a few acres of vineyards in the Vaio dei Massi Valley. The rich soil diversity, exquisite climate, and natural conditions of the place inspired the family to set up its company right in that valley.
