Tasting Note

This wine has a clear, pale yellow color, with an expressive floral nose of rose petals, as well as grapefruit, tropical fruits, lychee and crisp ginger. Concentrated, clear and full-bodied on the palate, with some creamy ripe fruit, that leaves a long, fresh, intense finish.

Product Notes

Matetic Vineyards Corralillo Gewürztraminer is a premium quality white wine hailing from the famous San Antonio Valley in Chile, a region known for producing some of the world's finest wines. The wine is made from 100% Gewürztraminer grapes, which are carefully handpicked and fermented in stainless steel tanks to ensure maximum freshness and flavor. The result is a wine with a pale golden hue and an intense aroma of tropical fruit, lychee, and rose petals. On the palate, it is vibrant, crisp and juicy, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. It pairs well with spicy Asian dishes, seafood or can be enjoyed on its own. Matetic Vineyards Corralillo Gewürztraminer is truly an exceptional wine and a must-try for white wine lovers.

About the Winery

Matetic Vineyards

In 1892, Jorge Matetic-Celtinja came to Punta Arenas by travelling from Fiume, an ancient port in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It is known as Rijeka in Croatia of today’s time. He became the first generation of his family to reside in Chile. The origin of Matetic Vineyards started in 1999 when the first vineyards got planted and harvested in the Rosario Valley. The place, situated in a location surrounded by the coastal valleys of San Antonio and Casablanca, became the pioneer of producing cool-climate and high-quality wines.
