Product Notes

Oakridge Wines 864 Henk Vineyard Pinot Noir is a seductive and complex wine that showcases the best characteristics of this revered varietal. The grapes are sourced from the Henk Vineyard in the Yarra Valley, which is known for producing some of the finest Pinot Noir grapes in Australia. The wine is deep ruby in color with aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, and earthy undertones. The palate is full-bodied and luscious, with flavors of black fruits, spice, and a hint of oak. The tannins are soft and velvety, and the finish is long and satisfying. This wine is perfect to pair with lamb, pork, or duck.

Tasting Notes

Deep red and with a purple hue. Densely fruited aromas of red cherry, cranberry and pomegranate. Sweet spice elements are interwoven beautifully with the fruit and its all framed and by some subtle stylish oak. The palate displays lashing of fruits, the full spectrum red and dark berries cascade down the mouth. Supple tannins and balanced acidity support the fruit and provide excellent length and persistence of flavour. This is a beautiful wine, layered and complex. A piece Pinot Noir of excellence

Oakridge Wines serves as a pioneer of winemaking in the upper region of the Yarra Valley. The winery is famous for producing and selling distinctive wines from single vineyards that have the ability and capability of delivering and expressing the quality and nature of the unique terroir of their origin. In addition, they showcase the benefits of the cold climate of the region. It allows the planted grapevines to grow and mature excellently.

Oakridge Wines believes and understands that the true essence of wine begins with the vineyards. For that reason, the winery focuses on sustainable and environment-sensitive practices that do not harm or damage nature in any way. The implemented methods and ways value the health of the grapevines and the soil, permitting the growth of the highest-quality fruits.
