Perfumed with a floral nose of rose petals, black and red cherries, strawberries and underlying spice notes. The palate is textured, succulent and complex, with a long savoury finish. Vibrant acidity and fine grained chalky tannins make this a powerful and exceptional age worthy wine. This is classic, focussed Pinot Noir.

Iona Pinot Noir is an elegant, cool-climate wine from South Africa’s Elgin Valley, where high-altitude vineyards and Atlantic influences encourage slow, even ripening. It typically offers inviting aromas of red cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, layered with hints of rose petal, spice and earthy forest floor. On the palate, it is graceful and fresh, with silky tannins, lively acidity and a lingering, savoury finish. Made to highlight Pinot Noir’s delicate character, it pairs beautifully with roast duck, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon or soft cheeses. Enjoy it slightly chilled to appreciate its fragrance, finesse and refreshing balance on any relaxed evening.
