Tasting Note

OLD LOVE is a dry, white blend that dreams of capturing the summer sun in a bottle of wine. Aromas of fresh cut blood orange, salty lemon and aloe vera typify this racy, texturally rich white wine. Guided by mother nature, we combine the Big Salt process, with a proprietary aging process to elevate the terroir that each of our five vineyards bring us (citrus, salinity, bright acidity, florality, ripe apricot). OLD LOVE is more versatile than any white wine we’ve produced thus far - it will pair with nearly any white wine appropriate dish, but is best enjoyed on the porch with nothing else to do.

Product Notes

Ovum Wines Old Love is an enticing white wine crafted by John and Ksenija House from the Rogue Valley in Oregon. Made from grapes grown on a biodynamically farmed vineyard, this wine boasts aromas of honeyed apricot, lime zest and wildflower. On the palate, it is a complex and layered wine, showcasing flavors of ripe mandarin orange and spicy ginger. A delicate mineral finish rounds out each sip of this full-bodied wine, making it an ideal pairing for spicy Asian cuisine or seafood dishes. Overall, this Riesling is a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, and a true delight for any wine enthusiast.

About the Winery

Ovum Wines

When Ksenija and John House founded the Ovum Wines in 2011, their main objective was to produce the highest quality of authentic Oregon white wines that reflected the true character of the grapes and the places where they were cultivated. Today, seven years later, Ovum is one of the well-reputed white wine producers in the world. It mostly uses the grape varieties of Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Muscat for making white wines.
