Product Notes

Pheasant's Tears Vardisperi Rkatsiteli Rosé is a unique and elegant wine from the country of Georgia. Made from the indigenous Rkatsiteli grape variety, this rosé boasts a beautiful pale pink hue and a delicate bouquet of strawberries, raspberries, and citrus fruits. On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with vibrant acidity and flavors of red fruits and floral notes. The name "Pheasant's Tears" refers to the traditional Georgian winemaking practice of burying clay vessels, or qvevris, in the ground to ferment the wine, a technique believed to cause the winemaker to shed tears of joy. This rosé is a true expression of Georgia's winemaking heritage and is perfect for sipping on warm summer days.
