Attractive and inviting aromas of stonefruit and sweet limes are dominant, with floral notes of honeysuckle and lavender adding layers of complexity. Bright lime and citrus fruits, perfectly balanced with soft sweetness and sherbet like acidity. Hints of musk and a talcy like texture play in the background

Pikes Hills and Valleys Riesling is a premium white wine crafted from hand-picked grapes from the Clare and Eden Valleys of South Australia. This elegant and delicate wine features a pale straw color with a green tinge, and a bouquet of fresh citrus and floral notes. On the palate, it showcases juicy fruits like lime and granny smith apples, entwined with subtle mineral and flint characters, and a hint of honey. The finish is crisp, clean and lingering, with a well-balanced acidity that allows the wine to age gracefully over the years. This Riesling is an ideal companion to Asian-inspired dishes, spicy seafood, and fresh salads.

About the Winery

Pikes

The story and history of Pikes run along with that of the Pike family. Since 1886, the family produced and distributed handcrafted, authentic, and high-quality wines in Australia. They sold their first beverage, the Pikes Beer, in 1886. Then followed their line of cordials and soft drinks since 1940. Their first wine, the Pikes wine got released in 1985. As such, the involvement of the Pike family in the beverage industry is a family tradition that they take exceptional pride in and enjoy.
