Product Notes

Planeta Didacus Chardonnay is a wine label that represents excellence in Sicilian winemaking. It is named after Didacus, who was a son of the original Planeta family. This Chardonnay is made with perfectly ripened grapes from the Menfi region, where the soil is mixed with clay and limestone, imparting unique terroir to the wine. The beverage exhibits a straw-yellow color with golden hues and a bouquet of tropical fruit and light floral notes. On the palate, it offers a warm and well-balanced taste with well-integrated oak and mineral notes. It is a perfect wine that pairs superbly with risotto with shrimp, salmon, and mushroom dishes.
