Product Notes

Poggio di Sotto Rosso di Montalcino is a remarkable Italian red wine that showcases the true essence of the Sangiovese grape variety. With a beautiful ruby red color and a complex aroma of ripe red fruits, floral notes, and a hint of earthiness, this wine is elegant and refined. On the palate, it offers a balanced acidity, smooth tannins, and a long, satisfying finish. Made with organic farming practices and minimal intervention in the winemaking process, Poggio di Sotto Rosso di Montalcino truly embodies the terroir of its region, resulting in a wine that is both authentic and captivating.

About the Winery

Poggio di Sotto

Poggio di Sotto is one of Tuscany’s most revered estates, located in the heart of the Brunello di Montalcino appellation, just southeast of the historic town of Montalcino. The winery sits at an altitude of 200–400 metres above sea level, where the combination of rocky soils, gentle slopes, and maritime breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea creates ideal conditions for cultivating Sangiovese of exceptional character.
