Tasting Note

Lemon with golden hints. Full of intense aromas of lemon, orange blossom and fennel with a saline edge. On the palate, there is plenty of textural complexity to compliment the fruit-forward flavours and mineral finish.

Product Notes

Rafael Palacios Louro Do Bolo Godello is a stunning white wine hailing from the Valdeorras region of Spain. Made from the indigenous Godello grape, this wine showcases the epitome of Spanish winemaking excellence. The wine embodies a rich and elegant profile, with notes of ripe green apple, pear, citrus, and floral hints that dance gracefully on the palate. Its crisp acidity and mineral undertones add complexity and depth to every sip, making it a perfect companion for seafood dishes or enjoyed on its own as a refreshing aperitif. Rafael Palacios Louro Do Bolo Godello is a true expression of the unique terroir and winemaking skills of Rafael Palacios.

About the Winery

Rafael Palacios

Rafael Palacios is a boutique winery located in Valdeorras, Galicia, in north-west Spain, an area known for its rugged landscape and granite-rich soils. The winery is owned and run by Rafael Palacios, the youngest son of José Palacios Remondo and brother of renowned winemaker Álvaro Palacios. Founded in 2004, the project was born from Rafael’s desire to focus exclusively on white wines and to unlock the potential of the native Godello grape.
