Raúl Pérez is a world-renowned winemaker from northwest Spain who has been producing some of the country's most exceptional wines for more than two decades. La del Vivo La Vizcaina de Vinos is one of Pérez's most celebrated projects, located in the Bierzo wine region of Castilla y León. The vineyard consists of 45 small plots with vines that are more than 80 years old, producing intensely concentrated grapes with tremendous complexity. Pérez's winemaking philosophy revolves around minimal intervention and respecting the terroir, resulting in wines that showcase the unique character of the region. La del Vivo La Vizcaina de Vinos is a must-try for any wine lover looking for a taste of Spain's finest.

Raúl Pérez

Raúl Pérez is a unique winery that, unlike traditional wineries, changes and modifies its brands, wine types, and vineyards according to the varying factors of nature and its creator’s creativity. Its venture starts with a link between the owner Raúl Pérez and Castro Ventosa. The latter was a family-owned winery in Valtuille in Leon’s Bierzo region. The wines there inspired the aspiring oenologist and winemaker, leading him to develop and create his winery.
