Tasting Note

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is dark red with a purple hue in colour. On the nose this wine exhibits violets, cassis, dark berry fruit with overtones of oak. The mid-weight palate shows excellent flavour and structure with rich fruit and fine grained tannins. The finish is long and flavoursome.

Redman Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium wine produced by the Redman family in the Coonawarra region of South Australia. This wine features a deep garnet hue and aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and vanilla that are complemented by subtle notes of roasted coffee and spices. It has a full-bodied flavour profile that is complex and layered. The attention to quality in the grape-growing and winemaking process is evident in every sip. About the Winery

Redman

The history of Redman starts with William (Bill) Redman. He arrived in Coonawarra in 1901 from avenue range. He was only 14 years old at the time, and he got work at a winery owned by John Riddoch. Bill worked there up to 1908 and took the time to learn the craft under Ewen McBain, a respected winemaker.
