Product Notes

Rocca di Montegrossi Rosato di Toscana is a vibrant and fresh wine made by one of Tuscany's most innovative wineries. This youthful and lively wine consists of a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, which are carefully hand-harvested from the vineyard's pristine soils. The wine's delicate color, with shades of raspberry and pink, perfectly complements the fresh, delicate scent of red fruits and roses. The palate reveals a lovely balance between acid and fruit, with crisp notes of red berries, grapefruit, and lime. This Rosato di Toscana can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of dishes, such as grilled fish or fresh salads.

About the Winery

Rocca di Montegrossi

The history of the Rocca di Montegrossi dates back to the sixth and seventh century AD when it was established by Geremia, the founder of the Ricasoli-Firidolfi family during the time of the Longobards. The family has played an essential role in laying the foundation for the Chianti Classico wines. The estate’s strategic location dominates much of Valdarno Superiore and Chianti and has a rich and dramatic history of conquests, destruction and rebuilding.
