Tasting Note

Mahogany with rich amber hues. On the palate medium bodied but rich lingering flavours of toasted nuts, age complexity plus fine brandy spirit complete the Para Grand Tawny palate. A lifted and stylish bouquet displaying lightly toasted almonds, praline and vanilla nougat.

Product Notes

Seppeltsfield Para Grand Tawny is a fine example of the prestigious Australian fortified wine known as Tawny Port. This is a blend of aged vintage wines dating back to the early 1900s, each chosen for its exceptional flavor profile. The wine is matured in old oak barrels to create a sophisticated flavor palette that captures notes of toffee, caramel, and nuttiness, all balanced perfectly with aged tannins. The taste is rich and complex, with a smooth finish that lingers on the palate long after the wine is gone. This well-structured and elegant wine is a true testament to the expert craftsmanship of the Seppeltsfield winemakers.

The vineyards of the Seppeltsfield are known for their ancient culture and rich heritage. Spread over 420 acres on the Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley, these vineyards look absolutely exotic and grand.
