Tasting Note

Deep garnet in colour with a complex red-cherry and blackcurrant aroma, underpinned by elements of dried spice and bay-leaf. A concentrated, fleshy and well structured palate, indicative of the moderate yielding 2016 vintage. This wine will cellar well for many years to come.

Product Notes

Sons of Eden Remus Old Vine Shiraz is a premium wine made from Shiraz grapes grown in the Barossa Valley, one of Australia's most renowned wine regions. These grapes are sourced from some of the oldest vines in the region, with some of the vines dating back to the 19th century. The result is a wine with great complexity, depth, and intensity. The wine is full-bodied with black cherry and plum flavors, and aromas of dark chocolate, spice, and vanilla. The tannins are firm, but well-integrated, creating a smooth and long-lasting finish. Sons of Eden Remus Old Vine Shiraz is a testament to the Barossa Valley's exceptional terroir, ideal for producing world-class wines.

About the Winery

Sons of Eden

Sons of Eden’s history started in 2000 when it was established, and at the time, it was deeply involved in high-quality wine crafting. Barossa varieties are from thirty unique vineyards that are handpicked and processed in the small-batch winery with very little intervention. This is what gives the wines such a strong individuality sense.
