Tasting Note

Light and floral, with flavours of apple and citrus fruits, accompanied by a very subtle creamy texture. Crisp and refreshing on the finish.

Product Notes

Suavia Soave Classico Monte Carbonare is an excellent Italian wine that hails from the Soave Classico region in the Veneto region. This wine is made using 100% Garganega grapes grown in the Monte Carbonare vineyard, which is situated at high altitudes of up to 300 meters above sea level. The soil composition at this altitude is predominantly volcanic, which gives the wine its unique minerality and crispness. Suavia Soave Classico Monte Carbonare is a full-bodied wine with a yellow color and an intense aroma of citrus fruits and white flowers. On the palate, it has a strong mineral character, combined with a soft fruity taste. This wine is best served chilled and pairs well with light dishes such as seafood, salads, and white meat.

About the Winery

Suavia

Since the eighteenth century, the Tessari family has resided and farmed in Fittà, a little rural community perched on the slopes of Soave Classico. But, the legacy of Suavia didn't start until later, in 1982, when the father and mother, Giovanni and Rosetta, decided to go it alone and build a name for themselves by crushing their own grapes and producing their own wine after realising the immense potential of their location. The name Suavia is reminiscent of earlier mentions of Soave. Three sisters, Meri, Valentina, and Alessandra, continue the family history and administer the winery today, always working in Fittà, where everything began.
