Product Notes

Tormaresca Roycello Fiano Salento IGT is a refreshing white wine made from the indigenous Fiano grape grown in the Salento region of southern Italy. The wine boasts fragrant aromas of ripe peach, apricot, and tropical fruits, rounded out with floral notes and a hint of minerality. On the palate, Roycello Fiano is crisp and vibrant, with zesty citrus and apple flavors that lead to a clean, delicate finish. This wine is perfect for sipping on its own, as an aperitif or paired with seafood dishes, salads, and light pasta dishes. Elegant and enjoyable, Tormaresca Roycello Fiano Salento IGT is an excellent choice for any occasion.

About the Winery

Tormaresca

Known as the name behind the Modern Renaissance of Puglia in the winemaking industry. The Tormaresca wine label was established in the year 1998 by the Antinori Family. A prime reason for establishing this brand was to bring out the maximum potential of the rich terroirs found in the Murgia Alo Salento regions in Apulia. Until the establishment of Tormaresca, the Apulia region was only known for the quantity of grapes it produced and not the quality. This changed after 1998!

Currently, Tormaresca is the only producer of wines in the two, extremely prime, wine-growing areas of Puglia, Castel del Monte DOC and Salento. The wines created under this label are entirely made from the grapes grown in their own estate. The two wine estates owned by this label are:

Bocca di Lupo Estate in Castel del Monte DOC – This 250-acre estate is located at a height of about 800feet above sea level. Found near the Vulture Volcano in the Murgia region, this estate enjoys unlimited sunshine all the time. The climate and the elevation of this vineyard make it ideal for growing varietals such as Chardonnay, Aglianico, Fiano, Moscato and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Masseria Maime Estate in Salento – This 625-acre estate is located along the Adriatic Coast. The temperature, soil conditions and the overall terroir of this region make this estate a haven for growing native varietals such as Negroamaro, Primitivo and Fiano along with some international varietals such as Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

This label is known for making the perfect wines using a blend of modern and traditional winemaking techniques using the best of the experts in the field. Today, the Tormaresca brand has been creating a lot of innovations in the wine industry, like creating the Fichimori, a red wine which needs to be served cold.
