Product Notes

Trapiche Iscay Malbec Cabernet Franc is a remarkable blend of two of Argentina's most iconic grape varieties. This wine has a deep ruby color, with aromas of red and black fruits, such as cherry, blackberry, and currant. The palate is rich and concentrated, with flavors of ripe dark fruit, spices, and a touch of vanilla. The tannins are firm, adding a balanced structure to this wine. The finish is long and complex, with a pleasant hint of tobacco and cocoa. This is an elegant wine that displays finesse, complexity, and depth, making it a perfect pairing for a hearty meal or special occasion.

About the Winery

Trapiche

Trapiche, located in the extremely wine-rich region of Mendoza in Argentina, is a winery that was set up during 1883. This area comprises of over 1000 hectares and it is not surprising to know that this winery is the largest wine producer in Argentina. When Tiburcio Benegas bought the Trapiche winery during the 1880s, it was only a very small vineyard. Today, the place, owned by Grupo Penaflor, encompasses many vineyards from the Mendoza region.
