A deep red color with inky black tones. Aromas of blackberries, cherries and red fruit. On the palate the wine is medium bodied, with juicy tannins, pure and very generous.

Product Notes

Viña Cobos Felino Malbec is a deep, full-bodied red wine hailing from the renowned Mendoza region of Argentina. This wine presents a striking deep purple color and exudes rich aromas of ripe black fruits, spices, and violets. On the palate, the dark fruit flavors are enhanced by notes of chocolate and tobacco, and balanced by soft tannins and a long, smooth finish. This wine is made from 100% Malbec grapes, hand-harvested from select vineyards across the region and aged in French oak barrels for 9 months. Viña Cobos Felino Malbec is perfect for pairing with grilled meats, bold cheeses, and hearty pasta dishes.

About the Winery

Viña Cobos

Wines made by Via Cobos are true representations of the region from which they are sourced. In order to create wines that specifically represent their origins, Paul Hobbs, the founding partner and producer at Via Cobos, has worked since 1988 to explore the many terroirs of Mendoza. He specifically sought out the most prestigious locations like Luján de Cuyo and the Valle de Uco. With the release of the first Cobos Malbec vintage in 1999, Via Cobos established a new benchmark for viticulture, defied convention, and solidly established Malbec and Argentina on the world wine scene.
