Tasting Note

Garnet red in colour, this wine offers an intense, expressive nose of vibrant red fruits, including cherries, complemented by subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, bright notes of strawberry and morello cherry are enhanced by gentle hints of vanilla from oak ageing. Medium-bodied and well-balanced, the wine shows structured, firm tannins, lively acidity, and a long, persistent finish.

Product Notes

Fantini Farnese Sangiovese Terre di Abruzzo is a remarkable Italian red wine that showcases the richness and complexity of authentic Sangiovese grapes. Made by the renowned winery Farnese Vini, this wine is crafted using carefully selected grapes grown on the hills of Terre di Chieti, a well-known winemaking region in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The wine displays a deep ruby color with an inviting aroma of ripe cherries, blackberries, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and lush, with an impressive balance of acidity and silky tannins. The finish is long and satisfying, with notes of cherries and vanilla. A true gem of Italian winemaking, the Fantini Farnese Sangiovese Terre di Chieti is a perfect pairing for red meat dishes, hard cheeses, and hearty pasta dishes.
