Product Notes

Humberto Canale Old Vineyard Semillon is a white wine made from old vine Semillon grapes grown in the Patagonian region of Argentina. The wine has a pale yellow color and a complex aroma of citrus and honeyed notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a creamy texture and well-balanced acidity. The flavors of ripe lemon, lime and grapefruit are complemented by a subtle minerality and a touch of oak that adds complexity to the wine. This vintage is aged in oak barrels for six to seven months before being bottled. It's an excellent wine for pairing with seafood, grilled chicken or creamy pasta dishes.

About the Winery

Humberto Canale

The history of Bodega Humberto Canale, the Argentinian wine label dates back to as early as 1909. It was during this time that Engineer Humberto Canale realised the potential of the Alto Valle del Rio Negro region, when he started doing some irrigation work on it. Today, 11 decades and 5 generations later, this is one of the most respected wine labels in Argentina, the country where people are quite particular about their wines.
