Tasting Note

Its intense mineral aromas are reminiscent of wet stones and chalk, with notes of small red fruits such as such as cherries and strawberries. It is fresh and vertical in the mouth, as well as highly tense and robust, with balanced acidity, which transforms it into a smooth wine. Its red fruit, fine tannins and roundness are vigorously expressed in the palate, ending with a long lingering finish.

Product Notes

Bodega Luigi Bosca De Sangre Malbec Paraje de Altamira Edicion Limitada is a top-quality red wine produced by Bodega Luigi Bosca winery in the Alto Valle de Uco region of Mendoza, Argentina. This wine is a tribute to the outstanding terroir of Paraje de Altamira, where high-altitude vineyards produce superior grapes thanks to the unique climatic conditions. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and aged for 14 to 16 months in French oak barrels, resulting in a complex and elegant wine with a deep ruby color and intense aromas of blackberry, red plum, vanilla, and chocolate. On the palate, this Malbec is full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, refreshing finish. This limited edition wine is a must-try for Malbec lovers and aficionados.

About the Winery

Bodega Luigi Bosca

Established in 1901 by Don Leoncio Arizu, Bodega Luigi Bosca is Argentina’s most ancient family-owned winery today. Currently, the winery is managed by the descendants of the founder. This winery is located in Mendoza, the richest wine-producing regions in Argentina. The wines crafted in the Luigi Bosca winery are of high quality and intensity because of the unique desert climate of Mendoza and the fertile alluvial deposits in the soil.
