Product Notes

Trapiche Melodías Winemakers Selection Malbec is a ruby-colored wine that is rich and full-bodied. It showcases an intense bouquet of ripe black fruits such as blackberries, blueberries, and plums, with subtle undertones of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, this Malbec is well-balanced, structured, and elegant, with velvety tannins that hold up to the wine's bold flavors. The long, smooth finish reveals the wine's complexity, which reflects the unique characteristics of the Mendoza region where the grapes are sourced. This classic Malbec pairs excellently with grilled meats, bold cheeses, and spicy dishes. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now or aged for future occasions.

About the Winery

Trapiche

Trapiche, located in the extremely wine-rich region of Mendoza in Argentina, is a winery that was set up during 1883. This area comprises of over 1000 hectares and it is not surprising to know that this winery is the largest wine producer in Argentina. When Tiburcio Benegas bought the Trapiche winery during the 1880s, it was only a very small vineyard. Today, the place, owned by Grupo Penaflor, encompasses many vineyards from the Mendoza region.
