Product Notes

Susana Balbo Signature Late Harvest Malbec is a luscious and decadent dessert wine that captivates the senses with its rich flavors and velvety texture. Made from hand-harvested Malbec grapes that are left on the vine to fully ripen and develop concentrated flavors, this wine showcases the best of Argentina's renowned varietal. The nose is filled with aromas of ripe blackberries, dried plums, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, there is a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, with flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate, and exotic spices. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a memorable impression. Pair this wine with chocolate desserts or strong cheeses for a truly indulgent experience.

About the Winery

Susana Balbo

Founded in 1999 by Susana Balbo, Argentina’s first female winemaker, Susana Balbo Wines has become one of the country’s most respected family-owned wineries. After more than two decades of consulting for prestigious wineries across Argentina and internationally, Balbo established her own estate in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, at the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza. The winery was built around her vision of producing elegant, terroir-driven wines that combine innovation with a deep respect for Argentina’s diverse vineyard sites. Today, the business remains family-owned, with Susana’s children, José Lovaglio Balbo and Ana Lovaglio, playing key roles in winemaking, innovation and marketing, ensuring continuity into the next generation.
