Product Notes

Susana Balbo Signature Late Harvest Torrontés is an exquisite Argentine dessert wine that showcases the renowned winemaker's expertise. This wine is made from late-harvested Torrontés grapes, a native Argentine varietal known for its aromatic and floral qualities. The grapes are carefully selected and left on the vine until they reach their maximum ripeness, resulting in concentrated flavors and optimal sugar levels. The golden-hued wine offers intense aromas of ripe peaches, honey, and citrus blossom. On the palate, it is lusciously sweet with a perfect balance of acidity that prevents it from becoming cloying. With a long and persistent finish, this wine is the perfect choice for indulgent desserts or can be enjoyed on its own as a luxurious treat.

About the Winery

Susana Balbo

Founded in 1999 by Susana Balbo, Argentina’s first female winemaker, Susana Balbo Wines has become one of the country’s most respected family-owned wineries. After more than two decades of consulting for prestigious wineries across Argentina and internationally, Balbo established her own estate in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, at the foothills of the Andes in Mendoza. The winery was built around her vision of producing elegant, terroir-driven wines that combine innovation with a deep respect for Argentina’s diverse vineyard sites. Today, the business remains family-owned, with Susana’s children, José Lovaglio Balbo and Ana Lovaglio, playing key roles in winemaking, innovation and marketing, ensuring continuity into the next generation.
