Product Notes

Tilia Mendoza Cabernet Merlot is a perfect balance of richness and elegance, crafted from blended grape varieties grown in the acclaimed Mendoza region of Argentina. A deep red-purple color, the wine possesses an alluring aroma of plum and red berries with hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate, flavors of black cherry and blackberry are complemented by notes of cocoa and coffee. The soft, well-rounded tannins create a velvety finish that lingers on the palate. This wine is a versatile pairing for a wide range of foods, from grilled meats to rich pasta dishes, making it an excellent choice for any occasion.

About the Winery

Tilia

If you are looking for a winery that produces wines that are a true representation of the Argentinian culture and lifestyle, Tilia Wines is the right choice for you. The vineyards are located in the eastern and southern regions of Mendoza, Argentina. The warm days and the cool, desert climate during the night are ideal for the cultivation of grapes in this region.  Also, the vineyards are located at a height of 4000 feet above sea level, which helps in improving the quality of grapes produced here.

The wines are produced at the classic Bodegas Esmeralda winery, which was set up to represent the lifestyle of the local farmers and labourers of Argentina. The highly reputed wine maker from Catena, Leopolodo Kushnaroff, is the brain behind the wines produced by the Tilia brand. The word Tilia is from the Latin language. It refers to the traditional Argentinian Linden tree that is found all over Mendoza.
