It has an intense ruby red color, a bouquet of blackberry, black pepper, and vanilla, and a rich flavor profile – it's spicy, fruit-driven, and smoky. The wine is made from the Shiraz grape variety which is famous for its bold and peppery character. The grapes used in this bottle are hand-picked from Bird in Hand's estate vineyard in the Adelaide Hills region of Australia. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels which give it a silky texture and a subtle vanilla flavor. It's a versatile wine that pairs well with hearty meats, rich stews, and strong cheeses.
