Tasting Note

Bright and energetic, with aromas of red florals, orange peel and blue fruits combined with dark woodsy spice and undergrowth. Chewy, sinewy tannins and smoky spice fill the mouth, together with flavours of violet and black cherry. With excellent drive and expansion, the palate is long, enveloping and firm, yet pretty. Expressing well now, this wine will gain greater complexity with time in the cellar.

Product Notes

Kooyong Ferrous Pinot Noir is a premium wine that embodies elegance and complexity. Grown in the cool climate of the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia, this wine showcases the unique terroir of the region. The name "Ferrous" refers to the iron-rich soils in which the grapes are grown, imparting a distinct minerality to the wine. Aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, and dried herbs entice the senses, while flavors of blackberry, plum, and earthy undertones dance on the palate. With a velvety texture and balanced acidity, this Pinot Noir is the perfect pairing for roast duck or grilled salmon. Celebrate with Kooyong Ferrous Pinot Noir and savor the sophistication in every sip.
