Tasting Note

It has a beautiful light ruby-red colour and has a complex nose with cherry and raspberry aromas intermingled with notes of mushrooms, fallen leaves and forest floor. In the mouth it is intense, with crisp acidity, firm tannins and good structure. Its minerality and the tension in the mouth from the chalky soils are very clear. The mouth is almost salty thanks to the influence of the ocean and the soil.

Product Notes

The Ventisquero Tara Red Wine 1 - Pinot Noir is an elegant and complex wine hailing from the cool climate region of Leyda Valley in Chile. On the nose, it showcases enticing aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and violets along with hints of vanilla and smoke. The palate is smooth and silky with flavors of ripe berries, spicy oak, and earthy notes. Its soft tannins and medium body make it an ideal wine to pair with grilled meats, roasted poultry, and savory dishes. The wine has a long and lingering finish, leaving a delightful aftertaste of dark fruit and subtle spices. Enjoy it now or cellar for up to five years for added complexity.
