Tasting Note

Now moving towards graceful maturity, the aroma of this wine offers enticing notes of leather and truffle alongside the floral blackberry fruit it has always shown. The palate still has a good deal of power and structure – this is Nuits-Saint-Georges through-and-through – but the poise remains effortless.

Product Notes

Domaine Alain Michelot Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru La Richemone is a beautiful red wine with a deep ruby color and a fruity fragrance that hints of raspberry and cherry, with a touch of spice and earth. This wine is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the coveted La Richemone vineyards, which are located in the heart of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation in Burgundy, France. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months, which imparts a rich, complex flavor profile with notes of smoke, leather, and dark chocolate. This wine is a perfect complement to meat dishes, especially beef and lamb, and is sure to impress even the most discerning wine lovers.
