Tasting Note

A lot of substance here for a Bourgogne. Tactile, smooth-textured flavours of melted butter and roasted nut character, encircled by crisp, fresh citrus fruits. Plenty of wine for the money. A beautifully-made, accomplished Bourgogne from the Chassagne and Remigny communes aged in 8% new oak barrels.

Domaine Paul Pillot Bourgogne Blanc is a delightful white wine that is produced in the Burgundy region of France. It is made entirely from Chardonnay grapes that are carefully selected and grown in the vineyards of Meursault. The wine has a bright golden color and is characteristically aromatic with notes of honey, baked apple, and citrus fruits. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a delightful freshness and an excellent balance between fruit and acidity. It finishes clean with a subtle minerality and is perfect for pairing with seafood, white meat, or light vegetarian dishes. This wine is an excellent representation of the classic Burgundy style and is a delightful addition to any wine collection.
