It is the great lord of the Grand Crus. It gives wines of exceptional straight-line structure and power through its volume and intensity. It expresses a vast aromatic range with notes of ripe fruit, such as peach, but also oyster shell and smokiness. The palate impresses through its freshness, power and mineral balance. A fine reductive aspect may be found, carried by the marine flavours of oyster shell, lemon and flint. This is a great, complex wine with exceptional keeping potential

Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is an outstanding French white wine that is made from the Chardonnay grape variety. The terroir of the vineyards is perfect for this grape and produces a wine with intense aromas of ripe fruits, floral and mineral notes that are very elegant and complex. The palate is rich with a full, round body and a long, lingering finish. As a Grand Cru, Les Clos is the finest of the Chablis vineyards and embodies the best qualities of the region. This wine is perfect for pairing with seafood, shellfish, and other light dishes, and will definitely impress any wine lover.

Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin

Located right in the heart of the Chablis region, the French wine estate of Domaine Jean-Paul and Benoit Droin has been in the business of making wines for over 4 centuries now. The estate owns 26 hectares of vineyards that are spread across some of the best appellations to make Chablis, Petit Chablis, Premium Cru (9) and Grand Cru (5) wines. Currently, this estate is managed by the 13th generation of the family that founded this label.
